Here are some great ways to prevent your Lovebird from getting bored:
Routinely rotate the toys in the cage
This means take a few toys out and put some other ones in. This keeps interested and entertained as opposed to having the SAME toys in the cage day after day.
Let out of the cage and placed on a sunny platform
Lovebirds love to bathe and sun themselves on a daily basis and will appreciate being let out of the cage and placed on a sunny platform.
Get him a companion
if you work long hours and don't think you'll have a lot of time for your love bird, I recommend you get him a companion. This will keep your lovebirds happy and prevent boredom.
